Fondati nel 1982 a Perugia come quartetto, con musicisti provenienti da altre esperienze, gli Aidons la Norvege hanno esordito dal vivo con una formazione a tre elementi (Francesco Frondini-voce-sax-synth, Augusto Croce-chitarra, Massimo Rossi-basso) ed una drum machine. Il nome del gruppo proviene da un manifesto di propaganda uscito in Francia nel 1940 per protestare contro l'invasione nazista della Norvegia. Nel 1983, con l'ingresso del batterista Alessandro Costantini la formazione si è stabilizzata.
