Bio

The project Cassandra was born in 1996 in Rovereto. Starting from a common background that includes artists like Japan, David Sylvian, Brian Eno, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Mick Karn, Cassandra have developed a type of sound where you see references to ethnic Indian music, Eastern music, new wave '80s, ambient, electronic and nujazz. Research music and new ways of expression led the group to prefer the comparison with other forms of art, such as poetry, dance and the visual arts.
